As mentioned, I decided to have a chair on the right side. My dresser is 41" high so unfortunately those adorable (and cheap!) slipper chairs from Target would look like doll furniture. And, equally as unfortunate is the fact that the money tree in my yard has all but dried up! Which means I won't be getting this little $1500 number from Arhaus anytime soon. [ED- Is that how much those things cost?!? BTS)
Therefore, I am using what I have. It's a nice chair, just too big for this spot. Never thought I'd say that in a house full of 10 ft. ceilings. But, alas I "borrowed" a chair from my hubby's office--eh, he didn't need it anyway. [Ed: :-| ] No, really!

Like I said, it is nice but it needed something to tie it into the rest of the room. Jacki calls it putting lipstick on a pig--ok, maybe. I had a credit from a return at Marshall's--that seemed like a good place to start. So I moseyed on over to see what I could spy with my little eye. Wouldn't you know it? My pal Ralph hooked me right on up with a sweater throw with sherpa liner that coordinates with the coverlet on my bed (read: they're both cream and I needed to lighten up that chocolate leather--big time!!). You do know my friend, right? Ralph Lauren, silly. We're like this (making the fingers crossed sign) and he was giving me the friend discount at around $30. My one year old credit was for $24 so I was feeling pretty good about my expenditure.

You can kind of see the sherpa vs. sweater material--if you squint. |
So, what do you think? Is this little piggy squealing with delight or horror?
