After a few coats of Ancient Marble (Sherwin Williams)- sorry for the glare!
It was a pretty green before, but it read more celery-green with the honey tone cabinets (see pic below). A softer gray-green was just the ticket and complements the green in the unique granite and the tile backsplash nicely.
Before a fresh coat of paint and a little staging help!
After: Greenery done right.
Before: This striped hall chest was relocated to the master bedroom as a nightstand. The mirror/hook piece was relocated more conveniently to the mudroom.
This tall teak cabinet works well in place of the striped hall chest. It balances the height of the kitchen cabinets and provides a great space to display some serving pieces and cookbooks.
Before: Crowded and disorganized.
Removing one shelf and styling the cabinet makes all the difference.
Before: Breakfast nook with darker dining set that we moved to the dining room.
The teak table & chairs originally in the dining room continues the lighter wood theme throughout the kitchen and breakfast nook. We plan on accessorizing and updating the chairs with some fun chair pads for a more relaxed look.
As you can see, many of the changes we made simply utilized the homeowner's existing furniture and accessories in new and fresh ways. Would you like a chance to have a FREE room re-org?
